Heather Glynes

Heather moved from Vancouver to Penticton in 2010 and is the Business Manager & Co-Owner of the Bench Market. Prior to moving, Heather worked in fund development, events and communications at several non-profit organizations in the Lower Mainland. She was thrilled at the opportunity to get involved with the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen by bringing her previous non-profit skills to the Board of Directors of the Foundation. She is happy to be taking part in the Foundation by creating powerful, local change through annual grants, legacy donor gifts and innovative projects like the YES Project. Heather currently sits on the Vital Signs and Fundraising committees. She also supports local students through the Foundation with The Bench Market Bursary Fund. When not working or volunteering, she can be found enjoying the beautiful Okanagan with her family.
