For the past 16 years the Community Foundation has been very fortunate to host world class comedians in Penticton for a night full of great food, an amazing live and silent auction, and loads of laughs!

Thanks to support from Investors Group and our Friends of the Foundation, all proceeds from this incredible event go to operating the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan | Similkameen.

Bengt Washburn grew up in a large Utah town (1,200 people) as the fifth child in a small Mormon family (7 children).  He is married to an officer in the U.S. Air Force and has lived in 6 different cities, (and 2 countries) over the last 11 years.  Since Winning the San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2001, Bengt has performed in 48 states and 10 countries and made appearances on  Comedy Central, The Late Late Show with Craig Fergusen and Conan O’Brien.

Graham Chittenden is becoming one of Canada’s most sought-after performers, hosts, and writers. This year he performed at the Just for Laughs Festival, appeared on multiple episodes of the Comedy Network’s relaunch of Match Game, and made several appearances on CBC’s The Debaters, all while maintaining a busy schedule of live stand up comedy performances.

Erin Foley is an amazing comedic actress, comedian, and writer. Currently, Foley is a regular cast member on TruTV’s How To Be A Grown Up. She wrote for ONE BIG HAPPY on NBC. As a seasoned comedian, she has her own Comedy Central Presents, as well as having been on Conan O’Brien, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately, Arsenio Hall and Last Call With Carson Daly. She has had the honor of performing five times at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival – Just for Laughs, as well she has performed at the San Francisco Sketch Fest, Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, and Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington.
