Our project was originally planned as a Pitch & Putt Golf Tournament and BBQ to afford us the opportunity to introduce and welcome new neighbors while reinforcing the need for additional volunteers within our small community. We had asked CFSO to provide a small grant for the BBQ as well as financial assistance to replace several of the Christmas light displays which have become dated and worn through several years use. However, a delay in NSG approval put these plans on hold temporarily. It was later decided to arrange a volunteer work party to string lights and set up the Christmas Display, with a neighborhood get together afterwards. We had a great turnout for both, and on December 1st, turned the light display on for the first night. All totaled, there are 42 inflatables and hundreds of lights for all to enjoy.
