Kim joined the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen in 2016. She leads regional outreach and community-led initiatives, collaborating with local volunteer committees and partners to strengthen neighbourhood connections and support grassroots leadership.
Her work often bridges philanthropy and participation – you’ll find Kim at community events, Neighbourhood Small Grant gatherings, local workshops, and conversations that turn ideas into collective action.
As a guest on these lands, Kim is committed to the ongoing work of reconciliation. She engages in continuous learning and invites other settlers to reflect on their responsibilities in cultivating right relations with Indigenous peoples and the land.
Kim works from her home office in niʔxʷinaʔ (Keremeos), on the ancestral lands of the sməlqmix (Similkameen), where she lives with her partner and their two excitable German Shorthaired Pointers.
