Kim joined CFSOS in 2016 as the Regional Development and Neighbourhood Small Grants Manager. She collaborates with local volunteer committees to support and strengthen neighbourhoods. Kim is often seen at community events, such as Neighbourhood Small Grant gatherings, community conversations, or workshops.
As a fifth-generation settler, Kim has embraced the work of reconciliation. She engages in intentional learning and encourages other settlers to explore their roles and responsibilities in cultivating better relationships with Indigenous people and the land.
She works from her home office in niʔxʷinaʔ (Keremeos), on the ancestral lands of the sməlqmix (Similkameen) peoples, with her partner and their two Shorthaired German Pointers.
