April 8th kicked off our first 100 Women Who Care event of 2026. With a Pink and Floral theme and plenty of lively conversation, the evening reflected the energy and generosity that continue to define this group.
Our focus was Student Wellness and Learning Supports, and we heard from three organizations doing important work across our region:
Foundry Summerland (OneSky)
Similkameen Elementary Secondary School
School District 53’s Literacy Van
Together, our members granted $7,800 at this event — the highest amount our group has given at a single gathering.
This evening was an introduction to these organizations. We encourage you to stay connected, keep asking questions, and continue your giving if one of these causes resonated with you.
As always, thank you to our members. Your collective generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in our community.
