2025 Legacy Appreciation Event: Honouring Generosity and Shared Vision

On November 29th, the Community Foundation welcomed our Legacy Club members and friends to a special Legacy Appreciation event in the atrium of our new office building. This meaningful gathering was an opportunity to express gratitude, share updates on our work, and celebrate the lasting impact of those who have included the Foundation in their estate plans or established funds to create lasting change.

Our CEO, Aaron, reflected on how the Foundation’s work has evolved over the years. Our guests also got to hear from Tom Tumbach about the Okanagan Food & Innovation Hub, a project that CFSOS proudly took part in that embodies innovation and collaboration in our region. Legacy donors, Jan and Keith shared their story, and spoke about their commitment to building a stronger community. Adding a special touch to the morning, Emma, a PAMDA music student provided music, and the Summerland Singers & Players treated us to a sneak peek of their upcoming radio play, Miracle on 34th Street.

Thank you to all who attended and to member of our Legacy Club for helping us create a healthier, more vibrant South Okanagan Similkameen. We are honoured by the trust placed in our Foundation and inspired by your dedication and care for our community.
