a.The students must be pursuing education to improve their lives and better support their families, with an emphasis on upgrading employment qualifications. b.Training can be for any post-secondary program or for high school certification (Dogwood Certificate), with an emphasis on trades programs. c.The students must demonstrate financial need. d.Priority will be given to the “most deserving” students who demonstrate their determination and willingness to work hard to succeed in their education. e.Consideration will be given to family circumstances that add extra burden to the student. Preference will be given to single parents.
