The Community Foundation is interested in helping communities thrive. Recently, that assistance has expanded to include helping communities cope with urgent needs such as the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with growing environmental challenges such as the historic floods in the Similkameen.
As an example, the Princeton Flood Relief Fund, a flow-through fund, was created in partnership with the Town of Princeton in 2021 to give financial assistance to its impacted citizens. Together, we raised more than $1 million. View a short thank you message from Princeton’s mayor to all of the donors to this fund.
