a.) to support research benefiting residents of the South Okanagan Similkameen (SOS) by maintaining a high standard of health care delivery, improving quality of care and improving health outcomes. B.) To develop a culture of research and expertise within the SOS through facilitation of community based research, research by multidisciplinary healthcare teams, support and partnership with agencies, institutions, societies, non profit organizations, SOS GP divisions and SOS departments. c.) To ensure alignment with the IH Research framework, policies and procedures.
