Maimie De Silva

Maimie has over 35 years of project management experience with an international focus.  She is currently Manager for the acclaimed international music program, Morningside Music Bridge.

In her role as Project Manager, Maimie fosters an environment of teamwork. She is a strong leader who inspires confidence and trust in others and motivates project staff to perform at high levels to consistently meet program expectations. The balance of creative work and day-to-day operations along with the music, keeps her engaged and inspired.

Maimie moved to Penticton after residing in the picturesque town of Kaleden for 16 years. She is an active community leader who has served on a number of Boards including the South Okanagan Women in Need Society. She says it is important to give back to the community and has a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life in our area. She is excited to be involved with the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen. Outside of work, Maimie enjoys travelling with her husband.
