It was a hot day on Paris Street, which made it a perfect day for a neighbourhood party, all thanks to a Neighbourhood Small Grant.

“It was a beautiful day for our block party. We had about 30 adults and 6 children attend our event. We had games, water balloons, bubbles, and a turtle sprinkler set up to cool us off. Grab bags for the kids and a BBQ for all.

Neighbours spent the afternoon talking, dancing to the DJ’s tunes, playing, and overall enjoying the day. The BIG kids even got into blowing bubbles and being part of the water fights.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun and laughter.

We want to thank the City of Penticton and the sponsors for providing the grant to our community. As it was small in attendance this year, we hope to make this an annual event and welcome many more of our residents to celebrate our community with one another.”
